Disbelief to Believe In

Yes, this picture is exactly what it looks like: Philip Petit walking a tightrope strung between the Twin Towers in New York City, no photoshop, no exaggerations. This man was a genius. He walked between the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Sydney Harbor Bride, and many other seemingly impossible locations for a tightrope walker. His preparation and execution took him years of patience, planning, and bravery. After the act pictured, he was taken into police custody, but soon released because...well there is no law against tightrope walking in places one would never imagine that to occur. Petit's determination and positivity is one to be modeled by each and every one of us. It is not the fact that it got publicity or people still talk about it today, it is the fact that he was so incredibly happy doing it and did not let anyone's bad attitude or any obstacles halt him in his dream. This man is one for the books.
